The Military Medical Institute is a military medical higher education institution within the University of Military Security and Defense, part of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Defence system. It trains military doctors for the Armed Forces and runs master's, clinical residency and continuing education programmes.

History and status

In July 2025 the University of Military Security and Defense was created on the basis of the Armed Forces Academy, and the Ministry of Defence's military education institutions joined it with institute status; the head of the Military Medical Institute was appointed on 30 July 2025. A regulation registered by the Ministry of Justice on 8 April 2026 under No. 3808 set the rules for fee-paying study at the institute.
