History and status

Established as Akfa University by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 130 of 15.02.2019 'On the establishment of Akfa University', which includes training specialists in medical sciences. Its first intake in 2019 was to medical programmes. Renamed Central Asian University on 26 June 2023.
